Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been getting some fun products from Funko for a few years now. With the pop Ninja Turtles I’ve shared all four Turtles, Splinter, Shredder, April, The Foot Ninja, Bebop and Rocksteady. That leaves one release to that line which is now being covered, this is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Van Pop! Vinyl Vehicle with Michaelangelo.

It’s been awhile since I have written here, and I’m sorry about that. My family has desperately needed me, and I’ve often said “family first” on all things. So Cowabunga Corner has been one of the areas I had to step back from for a little bit to help my family get things in order. While we’re still working on things, I’d like to do an update on things to come from Cowabunga Corner. Hopefully soon!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles turned 30 last year and while some places have gotten it out of their system there are a lot of us who still want to party. Knowing that these green heroes have been around and are still going strong makes us feel great. Which is why I am excited to let everyone know about the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Thirty Years of Turtle Power!” exhibit at Toonseum from February 7th to April 26th.

This review covers two conventions, because this year these two conventions decided to take place on the same weekend. While it was an interesting idea, it had a lot of down falls for a fan who goes to both events. Namely, they were forcing the fans to make a choice between the two conventions, which took some of the fun out of going to these events. This, however, did not make for a bad weekend just more stress than what was needed.

In this episode of “Cowabunga Corner”, I get to interview Jim Martin, Leonardo’s puppeteerer from TMNT 3!
On June 28th, I got to meet up with Jim Martin at the Toonseum in Pittsburgh, PA. Jim Martin was the Puppeteerer for Leonardo in TMNT 3, so I asked him to join us for an interview and let the fans know what it was like working on the 3rd Ninja Turtle Movie.
This is our first interview on Cowabunga Corner I hope everyone enjoys!
