Hey everyone,

Review NYC Comic Con 2012

New York Comic Con is one of those events that you either really enjoy or not.  And since the first one, I have made it a goal to get to New York Comic Con yearly.  This event has almost as much as San Diego International Comic Con for the fans.  Actually, it has one thing going for it that San Diego does not.  It is for the fans, meaning fans are put first.  Making it a much more relaxing event.  Even though they have big crowds, exciting panels and an impressive dealer room, they have been able to keep it down to earth and very friendly.  The big question is, have they been able to keep this feel as the convention grows?

Once I catch up with Raphael and Ninjara, there’s only one thing left on my mind. Master Splinter. Where is he? Is he really dead?

Review: IDW TMNT #15

Happy Halloween everyone!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are getting more and more attention now with the new toys and cartoons on the market, though we can not let the first of the Viacom incarnations of the Turtles disappear into the shadows as the IDW Comics are still coming out strong with some awesome new Ninja Turtle Comics.  Today issue 15 has hit the market where the Turtles are going against a very strong and dangerous mutant from Stockman’s lab.  Find out the new history of a character many of us know well from the original cartoons and Archie Comics!

Review Nick TMNT : MetalHead

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series has been great at bringing back characters that TMNT fans of the previous series would enjoy like Baxter Stockman, Shredder, and in away even Krang is here.  Thanks to panels at conventions we’ve seen that other characters we care about like LeatherHead and RatKing are coming to this new series.  This week’s episode brought us another character from the past, Metalhead.  In the original cartoon Metalhead was made by Krang, and programed with the Turtle’s personalities to attack them.  The Turtles win and take over Metalhead.  So now comes the fun of seeing how Metalhead is made for this whole new take on the TMNT.

Hey everyone,

Review: TMNT "I think his name is Baxter Stockman"

Every version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a handful of amazing characters that keep coming back.  One of which was the second villain the Turtles ever faced, Baxter Stockman.  He originally appeared in issue 2 of Mirage Volume 1 as April’s crazy boss who created an army of Mousers.  The Turtles then fought him in the original cartoon series episode “A Thing About Rats” when Baxter is hired by the Shredder.  Which brings him into Archie, 4Kids and even the Dreamwave comics.  He was even used in the original version of the Coming Out of Their Shells tour.  The only two medias that did not use Baxter Stockman was the Movies and the Next Mutations, two areas which brought in their own scientists for their stories.  Now Nickelodeon takes a crack at bringing Baxter Stockman to their series in the episode “I think his name is Baxter Stockman” here is a brief layout and my thoughts on their take of Baxter Stockman.

Hey everyone,

Review: Turtle Temper Nickelodeon TMNT ep 3

The new Nickelodeon series has been a hot subject as of lately.  I’ve been going around hearing lots of people talk about the series and how they saw the first hour episode last week.  How the Turtles found out about pizza, the changes in their looks, and just the overall feel of the new series.  So far, the feedback has been positive for Nickelodeon as people are willing to keep going forward to see where the show is headed.  This week we deal with Raphael’s temper, an issue brought up in a handful of different Turtle medias, including in issue 14 of the IDW comics which just came out last month.  Is Raph’s temper so bad the other Turtles don’t want him around?
