Reaction : Rise of the TMNT first article

Cast for Nickelodeons Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesSince 1987 the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been going through reboots.  MWS was the first to really change the Turtles, with David Wise as the writer who had the job to make these Turtles kid friendly.  With every new incarnation of the Turtles, comes big changes.  Some changes stay, some changes are only in those incarnation of these characters.  Each ride is it’s own adventure which has it’s beginning middle and end.  As fans, the best we can do is see where the creative team takes us, and hopefully enjoy the ride.  A new ride is starting, with Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Kodak Moments #7

I got hundreds to thousands of photos through my life.  A lot of which would match up to stories here on Cowabunga Corner, but for one reason or another they are not chosen.  This does not mean that these photos are not worth sharing and do not hold stories of their own.  I would like to keep sharing what I can here on the site, so whenever I can I will share a photo and a story to go along with the photo.  If it’s a part of events that have been shared here, we will link back to the stories of the events themselves as well.  Hope everyone enjoys.  Today’s photo is a shot of the back of the panel room before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles voice actor panel started at Anim

Review: Toy Fair Day 2

Toy Fair 2014 was a big event that offered a lot of cool stuff.  The second day kept us just as busy going around as the first day.  It started off very early as Mattel was doing a Press panel that went over their new lines of toys for 2014.  We also had a handful of other interesting things going on, that got Miki and I to pack up and walk over there early.  Check in was easy and we got a press kit, before heading into the panel.

In the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cartoons the Turtles came up with a way to stay in touch with each other, known as the Turtle Com.

Review: Nickelodeon TMNT "I, Monster

IMonster 2012 Nickelodeon gave us a great ride with their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.  As we had 12 amazing episodes of action, comedy, heart, and pizza.  We watched as the Turtles ventured to the surface for the first time, had their first taste of pizza and first real fight.  We saw the Turtles learn to fight as a team, make new friends and see the danger of facing the Shredder.  We were on the edge of our seats as Dogpound and Fishface would work to destroy the Turtles, the Kraang kept making more mutants and Shredder beat the Turtles down.  Then we had a break, weeks with no new episodes of TMNT as everyone kept asking when are they returning.

Review Nick TMNT : MetalHead

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series has been great at bringing back characters that TMNT fans of the previous series would enjoy like Baxter Stockman, Shredder, and in away even Krang is here.  Thanks to panels at conventions we’ve seen that other characters we care about like LeatherHead and RatKing are coming to this new series.  This week’s episode brought us another character from the past, Metalhead.  In the original cartoon Metalhead was made by Krang, and programed with the Turtle’s personalities to attack them.  The Turtles win and take over Metalhead.  So now comes the fun of seeing how Metalhead is made for this whole new take on the TMNT.
